ARM 36-610

The new Automatic Reducer Machine is designed to produce high quality tapered reducers/increasers.  It has two workstations which each form a locking rib; one on the larger end of the reducer and one on the smaller end.  Only one operator is required.
The Reducer Machine is available in the 2 size configurations noted above (other sizes available upon request).  The ARM 36 is equipped with a full set of tooling to produce any combination of sizes between 3" and 6" Ø, in 1" increments.  The ARM 610 is equipped with a full set of tooling to produce any combination of sizes between 6" and 10" Ø, in 1" increments.  Size changes take only 15-30 minutes to complete (depending on size).

Safety

Reducer Machines have full safety features; including warning labels, an emergency stop button, yellow guards, and a yellow wire mesh safety frame.

Productivity

Machine cycle time = 4 seconds for all sizes

Load time = 11 seconds (dependent upon speed of operator)

Complete Reducers:
4 per minute
240 per hour
1,920 per 8 hour shift
480,000 per year (1 shift/day; 5 days/week; 50 weeks/year)

Assuming labor cost of one operator = $25,000/year, one reducer = 5.2¢ labor to produce
